BKK-2026-014 – Transport Services

This contract shall govern BKK AS’s requirements for transport services within the supply area, covering standard transport and conventional heavy transport. The services shall cover a broad range of transport assignments related to the construction, operation and maintenance of energy infrastructure. The assignments may include, but are not limited to, the loading, unloading and handling of materials at locations with restricted access, uneven terrain or other challenging conditions, as well as deliveries to trenches, construction sites, operational addresses and other relevant delivery locations. The assignments will primarily involve the transport and handling of cable drums of various sizes, transformers within the permitted dimensional and weight limits, substations that can be transported as conventional heavy transport, poles, bundled materials and other technical equipment requiring crane-assisted heavy transport. The services may also include the transportation of emergency power generators, as well as assistance with activities such as pole erection, cable laying and other tasks naturally associated with the transport assignments. The agreement shall also cover other transport assignments that naturally fall within adjacent service categories. The contract shall ensure that BKK AS has access to efficient, safe and predictable transport services, with sufficient flexibility to accommodate assignments that naturally fall within the same service category.
