Small boats for the Norwegian Home Guard

The Norwegian Armed Forces shall procure a small number of commercial small boats for the Norwegian Home Guard districts so that the Norwegian Home Guard (HV) can carry out security guard services and secure objects in the Coastal Zone. The small boats provide HV with the ability to guard against threats from the seaside and shall be connected to securing the vessel from the quay in accordance with the object protection list. Typical assignments that the small boats shall solve will be guarding and patrolling prioritised objects with the seaside, transferring visitation teams, interception, transport of personnel and material. As a minimum, 2 closed boats shall be procured per district, due to the nature and concurrency of the assignment in operations. They shall be based on commercial availability, i.e. off the shelf without the need for adaptations beyond what is strictly necessary.
