Om upphandlingen

Stavanger municipality has established a data lake in Microsoft Azure. The data lake is an important priority area for the municipality. Stavanger municipality would like to enter into a framework agreement with one tenderer for consultancy services for the further development and use of the municipality ́s computer lake, with an option on general development and integration services. In Stavanger municipality ́s digitalisation strategy (approved in 2022), the municipality aims for active digitalisation in the municipality's service development. To achieve this, the municipality shall be technologically advanced and we shall be ahead of areas that are important for the municipality. We shall also utilise our own data.   The municipality ́s digitalisation strategy also aims at the municipality collaborating on digitalisation; by collaborating with partners and collaborating to seek scale advantages where it is rational. Stavanger municipality envisages that services and systems developed either for, or together with the municipality, should be able to be shared with other municipalities and organisations of municipalities where Stavanger municipality is included. The data lake is actively used in varied projects within service development, insight, analysis and data sharing. The municipality has several ongoing projects within several service areas where we have collected data from several sources, such as data from trade systems and sensor data. We have also adopted new methods and developed a prediction model based on machine learning.
